Surgery

Our little baby girl had to have surgery today. I felt so bad for her. She's had a bump on her face for the last month and it hasn't gone away so the vet said we needed to sedate her to test the bump and take x-rays. She also had a bump in her leg that needed to be removed. We found out the root of her tooth had become infected and formed an absess and a mass had formed at the top of her tooth. The poor little girl had to have her tooth removed and they surgically took out the mass that had accumulated there. She also had the bump in her leg removed. She was in a lot of pain when I picked her up today and has been sleeping a lot. Luckily the vet gave her pain killers and that seems to be helping her.
Aaron made her a comfy bed on the couch out of a down comforter so she could hang out with everyone and be comfortable. The bandage is where she had her IV put in. Whenever she gets up she whimpers and groans. I feel so bad for her.
Here's her daddy taking good care of her. She has enjoyed having her head scratched and back rubbed. I think she is really enjoying all the extra attention. Armstrong has been jealous and if she gets up from the couch he tries to take over the comfy down blanket. She seems to be doing better since she first got home. Hopefully she will be back to her normal happy self soon.
