Hiking

Precious loves to sit in the front seat. As soon as someone moves from their seat she is there. If Armstrong gets there first she kicks him out of there and takes over.
We went for a hike last evening. The dogs love going for car rides especially when they are going somewhere fun. You can see here how excited Armstrong is.
Precious gets so excited being out in nature. Especially when it is somewhere new. She pulls the entire time. You can see how energetic she is in this picture. Aaron said that if Precious had her way she would run forever, if Armstrong had his way he would never stop eating. If you combined the 2 you would have the perfect dog. I think our dogs are perfect just the way they are.

Armstrong was the pack mule last night. He is in training to go on backpacking trips with his dad. He had to carry his and Precious's water in his pack. When he goes with his dad on their trip he will have to carry his own food and water. He was getting pretty worn out by the end of the hike. He was trailing behind everyone else, but when you called him he would try to quickly waddle to catch up. It's so funny watching him in his backpack. He doesn't realize how wide it makes him and he walks into things. He's such a cutie.
It is so hard to catch Armstrong looking at the camera. You can follow him around and he always turns his head away from the camera. I think he does it on purpose because once you put the camera away he looks right at you. The little stinker.
