Snow Dog Angels

We got Armstrong in New Hampshire and he loves the snow. This video really shows how much of a snow dog he is as he demonstrates his amazing snow dog angels.

Precious Pulling Andrea Down the Hill

The camera is a little crazy in this scene, but it's funny watching Precious pulling me down the hill.

Fun in the Snow!

Aaron and I had so much fun playing in the snow with Precious & Armstrong. I think they really enjoyed it too!
Armstrong is all set to go sledding.

Here I am pulling the lazy boy around.

More of our cute baby boy!

He was so funny letting me pull him around in the little sled. Precious, on the other hand, enjoyed pulling me down the hill on the sled.

More Photos at the Cabin

Armstrong looks so handsome under the tree!

Armstrong really enjoyed being his dad's pillow. He just loves to snuggle!

Precious relaxing with her Dad.

Look at the best Christmas present ever!!! (Aaron gave me Precious for our first Christmas together!)
Our two babies. Who needs anything else for Christmas besides these two?

My handsome husband opening his gift. He loves his new training and GPS watch.

Armstrong calling it a night.

Look at this outdoorsy boy!

Isn't this picture beautiful? The scenery isn't bad either.

Here I am with Precious. It was so pretty with snow everywhere on the mountain.

Look at Precious running to her daddy! She was so excited to run as fast as she could in the snow.
Aaron with Precious & Armstrong at the top.

We had a great time on our hike and the snow made everything breathtaking!

Precious -vs- Water

The funny thing about our Pooch Precious is she hates water, as a pup she would tippy toe through puddles, literally, but water shooting out of a hose is too much temptation for this one who loves chasing things more than all. Here she is in a frenzy to catch the illusive H2O...

A day at the office...

OK so I found my new favorite trail this is the combo of the Molino Basin and a portion of the Bug Springs trail connection through the Gordon Hirabayashi campground (a neat place that was a prison camp and held displaced Japanese-Americans during WWII. Gordon Hirabayashi challenged the legality of the internment and he is honored here-the foundations of the buildings are still visible) This trail is aprox 4.5 miles and climbs ~1,200 feet in elevation. It is quite technical but very fun.

I call this post "a day at the office" because since things have been so slow and this week I was a little depressed about my latest deal falling apart I decided to spend more time riding...on this day however I did have some pending business so I sat on top of this trail and returned some phone calls and checked emails on my phone...it was a great place to work I spent nearly an hour up there.

And here is the scene on the way down...best of all the trail is only 12 miles from our front door.

24 Hours of Old Pueblo

Well sorry we haven't posted in a while but you know how it is, we have been busy working on the AZ Trujillo's Bailout Package since my 14th transaction for the year fell through 4 days before closing...crazy I know, if a Cardiologist making nearly a half a million a year can't get a jumbo loan who can...really the guys saves lives with his bare hands and can't buy a house. I would be a very nervous loan officer going into have a bypass surgery performed by this guy after his ordeal. Needless to say I had to go refill the Prevacid and have been scrambling to recoup somehow to make this year come out in the black...on a lighter note we did have a great epic ride this weekend...

A little history about the trail we did on Saturday. As some know I use to be into endurance racing, my Pre-Andrea years and my last 24 hour endurance race I did was the 24-hours of Old Pueblo out here near Tucson (Oracle), I think that was in early 2002? but I can't remember, Andrea and I had just started dating and I think she must have thought I was crazy when I invited her to got to the race with me and help do support for our team, well she went and I planned on meeting Andrea's mom for the first time that weekend since she lived in Tucson. Well Andrea was planning on staying at her mom's house rather than staying up all night during the event but it ended up we need help for the twilight hours so she decided to say up and help the crew. As it turns out she told her mother this but her mom thought instead that Andrea was being held captive by a band of rouge mountain bikers. Through the course of the night Andrea's mom called all the bike shops in the area looking for this "race" and of course non of them had heard of it (I think this was only the second year they had the race at the time, now it is very well known), then she called the police to help her, then then the Sheriffs Dept and after they all told her she was crazy and to go to bed she went out to try and find it on her own even pulling over cyclist on the street to ask them if they had heard of it and knew where it was.

The next day of course Andrea's voice mail on her phone was full and I met her mom and everything was fine. So this is my story of how I first met my now mother in law... Andrea got the chance to ride this course this weekend and below are some pics for this trail that is rooted deep with personal history. (we did about 20 miles 4 are not shown on this because we sampled some new trail and I had already turned off the GPS-total climbing ~1500 vertical feet)

Andrea's longest Mt. Bike ride ever...and she did it like a crazy woman (see below)

Happy Birthday Linda!

Today is Aaron's mom's birthday! We were fortunate enough to be able to join her for her special day at the Olive Garden in Casa Grande. It was great to see some of the family and celebrate Linda's special day! Thanks for being such a hardworking and loving mother to everyone! We hope your birthday was great and we love you very much!
