Egg Hunting

On Saturday Henrietta had another egg so we called Hunter to come over and look for it. Henrietta has been laying an egg every day. It turns out my smallest hen is the one laying all of the eggs. She is so small, but quite the producer. Sarah & Michael came over along with their friends the Schneiders and their boys. Here are some of the chickens and the big Thanksgiving turkey enjoying the yard.
Hunter's egg.
He kept shaking the egg and moving it all around so I was trying to make sure he didn't drop it.
Hunter with his special egg from Henrietta.

My midget white turkey was very social with our visitors. She came over to see everyone and Aiden enjoyed petting her.
The turkey checking everyone out.
The boys really enjoyed petting the rabbits. Here's Aiden with Bugsy.
Gavin enjoyed holding Nala.
Hunter really enjoyed playing with Velvet. It was nice to have the visitors. They also enjoyed playing with some baby frogs we found out in the field.

It is always such a treat when we visit, so I am glad everyone had fun on their visit! You make everyone feel so welcome!! Nice egg! Hunter is a cutie. That tractor seat is such a long ways from the ground for such a little tyke!
