Animals!

Our nephew loves animals! When they came to visit he wanted to hold and feed the rabbits.
Here's my little Nala getting ready to be held by Hunter. She is such a pretty rabbit and is pretty mellow when she is being held.

I really like this hot of Nala. She looks very majestic to me here and you can tell why she is called a Lionhead rabbit.

Hunter was very excited and happy to hold Nala. He really enjoyed feeding Velvet too. He thought it was funny how she would take the carrots and broccoli out of his hand. She got a little spoiled with his visit and now wants treats all the time.

We also went to the Tucson zoo. We love this zoo. We got there in time to feed the giraffes. Here is Hunter and Michael feeding them. The giraffe's tongue is so long and it curls around its food to grab it. It was a lot of fun to watch them eat. Hunter didn't know what to think about them.

Here I am with my niece Reese. We didn't have a carrier for her so I got to hold her the whole time in the zoo. She is so tiny I hardly noticed the weight. She was very good and even slept in my arms. The Tucson zoo has a lot of shade, but we had her blanket to make sure she didn't get burned.

I think Hunter took after his mom in feeding the giraffes. She didn't know what to think about them eating out of her hand.

We were also able to pet a hedgehog and a snake. I love the hands-on exhibits at this zoo.

This is a great shot of the hedgehog that Aaron took. Aren't they cute?!

Aaron was at the zoo too, but was taking the photos. Here is my handsome husband with his youngest niece, Reese.

Hunter loves the outdoors (just like his daddy) and the animals too. He was telling me about the bunnies at Uncle Aaron's house! Great pictures, thanks for sharing!Katlyn really wanted to see them too!
